YouTube to help creators use Google Gemiini for video ideas.

YouTube is working on features that will help creators use Google Gemiini to generate video ideas:

In order to assist producers in coming up with ideas for videos, titles, and thumbnails, YouTube is exploring an interaction with Google Gemini. The company that is owned by Google released a video on its Creator Insider channel announcing the introduction of the new Brainstorm with Gemini function.

A YouTube representative informed TechCrunch that the tool is being made available to a select group of creators as part of a small-scale trial. Before determining whether to expand the feature’s availability, YouTube will take into account the input provided by creators.

Given that it provides content creators with a feature not seen on rival social media video platforms, the new capability may provide YouTube with an advantage over those other platforms. Furthermore, it makes sense for Google to integrate its AI with its video platform to entice producers to utilize its tools rather than those of other well-known platforms like OpenAI’s ChatGPT.

Similar to another AI feature YouTube tested back in May, Brainstorm with Gemini is an AI-powered tool that suggests video topics that viewers would find interesting to creators. It then creates a talking point outline to help jumpstart the creation process.

According to the representative speaking with TechCrunch, designers can now choose to receive the same kind of assistance using Gemini, the name given to the family of AI large language models that are utilized in many Google products. When it comes to receiving assistance with content ideas, YouTube views this new feature as a means of determining whether content producers prefer the inspiration tool, the Gemini integration, or both.

Participating creators can launch YouTube Studio, type a video concept into the search field, and then choose between the Brainstorm with Gemini feature and the inspiration tool. YouTube aims to find out if producers find it useful to brainstorm using Gemini in addition to the inspiration tool, even though the latter already assists in coming up with ideas for videos.

YouTube is concentrating on using the technology to assist creators in creating their content, while platforms like TikTok and Instagram are currently concentrating on using generative AI to give creators the capacity to make digital representations of them.
