IPhone 16 will not include Apple stickers in the box confirmed by Apple.
If you are going to purchase an iPhone 16 or iPhone 16 Pro, there’s something iconic you will find missing in the packaging: Apple stickers.
In the recent news shared by Apple Store teams this week and seen by 9to5Mac, Apple confirmed that the iPhone 16 will not include Apple stickers in the box. The company further says that stickers will only be provided to iPhone 16 buyers upon request if they purchase it directly from the Apple Store.
No third-party retailers and carrier partners have Apple stickers to give out, and they’re also unavailable with iPhone 16 purchases made for home delivery.
What is the reason?
This move by Apple is only for the environmental goal they are working on with a commitment to achieving carbon neutrality by 2030.
The packaging of the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro models is completely fiber-based, according to the decided goal of plastic-free packaging by next year.
After revealing the Apple Vision Pro, the tech giant already made it clear what its goal was; even in February, when Apple introduced its MR headset, stickers were missing and were noticed by users instantly and shared on social media platforms. But Apple followed it along with the iPad Pro and iPad Air.
Well, Apple is getting mixed reactions on the launch of the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro and estimated a fall under pre-sales expectations.
